Wendy Farewells Nirvana
Wendy Wine-Taster, mascot for the Kilcoy Wood, Wine & Art Festival spent an enjoyable month at Nirvana Estate Winery at Sandy Creek. She did live up to her usual occupation of “scarecrow” by frightening Julie Doolan, until Julie was used to having Wendy around. They then enjoyed warming cups of coffee on cold mornings and taste-tested Nirvana’s enjoyable fortified wines, a good drop for winter evenings. After a farewell toast last Friday, Wendy accompanied Marg Cortis & Lyn Harmer to Woongooroo Estate at Mt Archer, on Doyles Road, were she will stay for a while.
Wendy was welcomed by the Close family and enjoyed pumpkin soup and damper in the restaurant. Wendy has booked in for the Christmas in July celebration at Woongooroo and looks forward to greeting visitors there anytime through July.
